10th August 2005 - The first 4 months of the 4x4 toys garage have been very hectic, but the garage has been a big success! We have two project trucks in progress, a 2 door surf being converted to solid axle with about 7 inches lift and 35" tyres, and a mk1 Pickup being converted into a monster offroader. Tony has also been kept busy with a flurry of services, and 2.4 head replacements, as well as lifts, and other specialist mods (he even had a Panda in for a few days!!)
We have secured a very reliable source of parts now, all proven to our high standards, and stock a selection of after market accessories, as well as the usual service items, so if you are thinking of any mods, let us know and we'll work out a personal quote. Naturally you save money if you have these done at the same time as your regular service. We can also offer MOT's with services now, thanks to a local garage.
You might also notice that some of our links are broken to older pics and tech info. This is due to the loss of one of our sites which was hosting the info, we are working on getting all the info up onto this site, but it may take a while to track down all the original stuff from backup disks so please bear with us.

Welcome to Linda and Tony's website! It's mostly about trucks and off roading, and naturally there's a lot of Toyota HiLux's, Hilux Surfs and 4Runners, as that is where our interests lay. But please don't feel excluded if you own any other 4x4 as they are all cool (the more modified the better) and there are pics of all type of trucks on this site.

There's lots of pictures of our off road trips, and trucks, for you to browse. The tech section will be added to over the next few months, the aim is to photograph and summarise all the mods, and maintenance to the trucks.

Tony's pickup is reasonably modified as you can see from the spec sheet (click on our trucks) and most of the work has been done by him. The Pick up has had major surgery and a report will be posted soon showing the progress on the rebuild.... Tony is always happy to advise/help with mods so feel free to drop us an email!

The other trucks currently in the 4x4toys stable include Linda's "Black Bullet" (1994 3.0TD Surf), a 1984 1st gen LHD 4 runner, and a grey 2.4 surf undergoing major surgery, and a 2 door surf body........
